Happy (online) Birthday Perfidious Jewellery!

February is a time of year to grab joy, and for me part of that is hurrah, another year of Perfidious Jewellery having brought joy to folks!

​PJ has been in my life in some form for many years, but starting to sell online was a big move, so that's what I celebrate on February 16th. Last year I ran a little celebratory give away, and shared a few lessons learnt and some fun facts, you can check those out here. This year I asked you all how you'd like to celebrate, and the overwhelming response was for me to just eat cake and not worry about special offers or promotions. 

Which left me feeling a bit mixed. 

My initial feeling was "Oh, no one even wants a FREE item from me" but then I realised two things. Firstly, money is very much on the mind of folks at the moment, so impulse buys even with a special offer aren't a priority (I feel you) but also I got a few comments and messages which made it clear folks want to support PJ , their mood was that I should celebrate, relax, no stress no mess. 

I really appreciate this.

2023 had an unpleasant kicker that I've had to stop selling to most European countries due to changes in/the introduction of various import packaging recycling schemes. I'll go into that elsewhere, but it's really clanged a door shut for  me. I'm looking for what windows have opened at the same time though, or those I can jemmy open, so 2024, let's see what we can do with you ahead of 12 years!
