Adventures in Silver Clay: Why workshops are worthwhile, and some top tips.

If you make jewellery, or use polymer clay, you may find a lot of folks suggest that you try making jewellery with silver clay. Having had a few chats about it, I wanted to try, but was nervous about trying a new skill that could be expensive to mess up!

I signed up for a one day workshop, knowing that I'd get the materials, tools, kiln access, tuition and advice from a real live expert.

Even as adults we all enjoy a daydream, a what if moment. Well, I sometimes go off and spend a few days daydreaming, playing grown-up make-believe at Live Role Play events. Basically, it's like improvised theater on a massive scale, with everyone acting as their choice of a character, but we don't expect friends and family to pay to watch us! We just enjoy the storytelling, some play fighting, and also, a lot of creative folks make costume and props...

The 'crown' is to be used as a prop in a play and the masks were made for fun, and I'm hoping two people may like them enough to buy them as a set!
