I'll be honest, for a long time I have been a bit anti-Valentine's Day, as I think that a well meant small gesture says a lot more than a commercially inspired large gesture. I'd sooner get a bag of "they're on offer and I know you like them" doughnuts than a box of "I had a panic in the supermarket on my way home" over priced chocolates.
That said, there's an amazing range of cards and gifts out there now from the pink and fluffy to the rude or zombie, so as folks have expanded the boundaries of what you can give on Valentine's Day, I'm a bit more in love with it...
Are there any great gifts or cards you've seen, given or received that make you think "usually I'd not bother, but that message is just right"? Share your great finds in the comments below!
