Some craft fairs are just, well, not that great.... It may be that there are no customers, or that folks are interested yet no one buys.

So will you sit, tapping on your mobile phone, bitching at fellow stallholders? I hope not, because if so, get out of this circuit now, craft fairs aren't for you! Will you ponder how to make the most of this minor disaster of an event? Yes? Read on!

Small Business Saturday UK

Every December Wollaton Hall in Nottingham has a weekend of craft stalls and Tudor fun. 2014's weekend fantastically also falls on Small Business Saturday UK.

What now? You may have seen posters and things, but in short, Small Business Saturday is a day to help promote smaller enterprises, working hard in a largely corporate world.

Be it family business, local shop, online business, wholesaler or small manufacturer - Small Business Saturday encourages people to think about and shop with smaller options.
