Hopefully you have seen my newsletter (do sign up, it's reet good) or socials, but hurrah, I am shipping to USA again! Thanks to Royal Mail I can now send your USA goodies or gifts with the tariffs pre-paid, and should you order through Etsy they also (usually) take care of state taxes at the point of payment too. No worries.  I've also been announcing my recommended last order dates, which take into account both Royal Mail’s advised last posting dates AND my processing times, so if you want something adapted etc, there should be no panics.
Of course you can still order after these dates, but it gets increasingly bum squeaky (or just nope) for Christmas time delivery. I will be processing and posting your lovely orders received up to December 16th, then, from December 17th you can still bag your jewellery… you’ll just not see it until January 😄 I'll be taking a break, and you can enjoy delayed gratification on your orders placed over that time. Processing and posting will start from January 2nd.  A calm photo for an important message. I have been looking at the non Royal Mail options for shipping to USA, which will enable payment in advance for the trade tariffs, to give customers clarity, quicker delivery and in theory lower fees.
But from what I can find the actual postage/delivery costs themselves will be phenomenal. And then add the tariffs on top. Royal Mail's UK 2nd class service is REALLY changing, which some folks are saying is just them making official how intermittent the service has become over the past few years, but I would never be that cynical... If you’ve seen it reported that 2nd class post may now take three days, that isn't quite right, it's actually worse!  |
