Ch-ch-ch-ch-chaaaanges.... Yup, I'm altering my P&P prices from May 1st 2022, but some items will remain free, and there's good news that "extra" items in the same package are dropping in price! Royal Mail has had a few price changes the last few years, and I did adjust in 2021, but another change from April 1st this year means time to reevaluate again. I've also looked at my packaging costs, and factored more of that in, it is P&P after all, not just P. I'm still absorbing a chunk of the packaging costs, and not passing all of it on to you 🎁 Probably the most important change is my standard P&P has gone from £1 to £1.25. That's adding 25% on top, but as postage is now £1.05, and the 20p only covers some of the packaging, you're still getting a good price. I'll also be sending sets of pins out Signed for as the standard, because given the cost and uniqueness of the work involved there's more peace of mind for everyone if we have the added security. Brightside, having weighed and reevaluated packaging, additional items are no longer 50p but only 30p each. If you want to grumble, I'll gently remind you that I've not increased my product prices for a while, despite rising overheads, increases in shipping costs for materials and additional taxes and costs for things like Czech glass. But as you're still reading this, I guess you shop small, and appreciate the perks and benefits that brings compared to the big bucks businesses which "absorb" costs - Which usually means cutting a corner elsewhere, pushing workers harder, or bullying the smaller businesses they buy from.
You understand about choosing where you put your money when you're supporting a small business, and I deeply thank you for that.

Totally with you on how large companies aren't being nice with free P&P, they're operating in such huge bulk buys and sells that usually the postage is then just added to the product price for the customer and they're still making a great profit.

It's so deceptive isn't it? One way or another you always pay for P&P in the process, it just depends what has been chopped and changed elsewhere. I'm glad you're on team understanding!
