A lot of folk are currently feeling, well, a lot of things, from scared to raging and all in between. So firstly, hello, PJ as a business and definitely myself are LGBTQ+ friendly. All of those letters.

Secondly, I have been percolating on how to say that, if I say that, do I need to say that?...

I was a member of an LGBTQ+ wedding supplier network (who actively worked to help businesses increase their awareness and inclusivity) I have written a blog post about boys wearing earrings and the silliness of gendering jewellery. I have worked on gay wedding commissions. I have adapted jewellery for people who are transitioning and working out their style. I make badges with jokes written on pride rainbows. You hopefully have seen all that.

But, I decided that I still wanted to explicitly say something. I have friends and family who are looking at the pendulum swing, looking at the UK, looking at America, and they are quite rightly concerned. How much, what next, who next?

What has this got to do with jewellery you may ask? Get my politics off your feed - EVERYTHING is political, see above regarding how jewellery can help people feel themselves, celebrate their love. Therefore, what I make, who I make it for, who I sell it to, all political.
