I'm Lisa, and I love creating accessories which are unusual, but still wearable, and often useful! I work from my home studio in a village between Nottingham and Derby, in the UK.
A mix including skulls, angels, teapots, amulets and talismans, all packed with colour, I've found my jewellery appeals to a wide range of people from goth wedding planners to grandmas who knit.
What really excites me is taking commissions, working to combine your ideas and my style into unique jewellery that you'll get complimented on.
Perfidious Jewellery is on an exciting voyage of well over 10 years and counting. From making gifts for friends, then craft fairs, and now worldwide thanks to the internet - What will you challenge me with next?
A bit of trivia... I'm aided by three Quality Control cats, am married to the writer behind The Tower of Stars, and have one tattoo and six piercings. Oh, and I'm a bit keen on my garden and the wild birds, which you may see on my social media!
Perfidious is because when I was a teenager, a group of friends and I were joining an online community/role play group, and we all picked user names that began with a P - I just flicked through a dictionary, and liked the description for Perfidious - Something which appears appealing to disguise dishonest intent; the rose that conceals the thorns.
I started to use it as a business name at university, and then it stuck! It's memorable even if people don't know what it means.
